MathYap

Terms of Use

Last updated: November 4, 2026

MathYap is an app for practicing math facts, made by John Gladden. By using MathYap you agree to these terms.

Using the app

The free parts of MathYap, including Just practice and Warm Up, are free to use. Every device gets the whole app free for its first week, starting when a kid first finishes setting up their Yapper. The free week needs no sign-up and no payment, and nothing is charged when it ends.

MathYap Family

MathYap Family is an auto-renewable subscription that opens the rest of the app for every kid on the device. It is offered monthly or yearly, and the price is shown in the app before you buy.

Your content

Names and practice data you enter stay on your device and belong to you.

Grown-ups

MathYap is made for kids to use with a parent or guardian's permission. Purchases and settings sit behind a parental gate, and a grown-up is responsible for any purchase made on the device.

No warranty

MathYap is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and working, but we can't promise it will be free of errors or available at all times. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or incidental damages from using the app.

Apple's terms

The app and your purchase are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, Apple's agreement controls.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
